For the past 10 years Jeff Foster has worked with some of the world's largest retailers and financial institutions to define, design and implement e-commerce and retail payment processing and risk management solutions.
In 1998 Jeff Foster co-founded Reston, VA-based Paymentplus, Inc., a payment gateway software company targeting large card-not-present retailers. For five years the company's flagship product, LiveProcessor, led the market for innovation in the e-commerce space, processing the first online ACH transaction, the first CVV transaction, the first transaction in the US that settled in Japanese Yen, the first Level 3 Data transaction, the first Bill Me Later transaction and many others.
Mr. Foster led the marketing, sales, public relations and product development teams for the company and licensed LiveProcessor to Tupperware, RealNetworks, Verizon Wireless, Prudential Insurance, Gateway Computers, NEC Electronics, Research in Motion, Nextel Communications, EDS and over 50 others. In 2002 Mr. Foster and his co-founder, Matt Wixson, sold the company to Retail Decisions (ReD), a London-based, publicly held company specializing in e-commerce solutions for large retailers, telecommunications companies and financial institutions, with offices in the UK, South Africa, Australia and the US.
In his capacity as Executive Vice President for Retail Decisions, Inc., the North American division of the company, Mr. Foster led the sales, marketing and public relations departments for the company, which provides fraud prevention solutions, licensed and service-based payment processing solutions and neural network technology.
During Mr. Foster's tenure with the company, (2002 - 2006), ReD designed and implemented fraud prevention and payment solutions for The Royal Bank of Canada, First Data International, JP Morgan Chase, Google, Sears, Kmart, Wal-Mart, Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Netflix, Travelocity, Columbia House, Register.com, Payless Car Rental, SBC Communications, Buy.com, Hotwire.com and many others.
Mr. Foster has been quoted, referenced and featured in various publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, The Financial Times, The Washington Post, The Washington Business Journal, Internet Retailer, The Nilson Report, and Credit Card Management in addition to being a sought after speaker within the payments industry. Mr. Foster has appeared as a keynote or featured speaker at more than 50 events around the world and has appeared on Bloomberg Television and ABC News.
Rayce started in the payments business in 1991 as a Sales Manager with American Express's Corporate Services Division and has helped build and grow a number of payments-related businesses since.
From his positions with Paymentech and Chase Merchant Services to his most recent senior management appointment as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Retail Decisions Plc's Pre-Paid and Fuel Card businesses in Australia, Rayce has produced results for some of the largest merchants in the world. Prior to his appointment in Australia, Rayce was Vice President of Sales at ReD USA, the N. American division of the company, where he worked for 3 years with Jeff Foster, Payventures' founder.
Throughout his career in payments, Rayce has built his reputation on identifying the best possible solution for his clients and partners and then seeing each project through to completion.
Rayce earned a Bachelor degree in Economics from Portland State University. He is an avid golfer and scuba diver and a competitive poker player.
Alison has worked with online dating sites JDate, AmericanSingles, Match.com, Cupid Junction, Yahoo! Personals, Nerve, Date.com, MatchMaker, PerfectMatch and The Relationship Exchange (which she co-founded while at Intermix/MySpace) to name a few.
Last year Alison was recruited by JDate to produce its first ever premium service called Joe's Club; a social club for successful Jewish Professionals. Responsible for all aspects of the program, Alison designed the site, developed the technology and spearheaded sales and marketing. Prior to Joe's Club, Alison ran strategic partnerships for start-up In Real Life, a social networking software company which offered proprietary technology to online communities as a means to facilitate the conversion of online relationship into offline connections. Alison co-founded SyncPeople, a social networking technology company focused on building and maintaining web-based communities for events.
Prior to her work with online dating and social networking sites Alison was the #2 employee of IFILM, an online video network serving user-uploaded and professional content to more than ten million viewers monthly. Alison ran business development, strategic partnership and was a contributing writer for the site, which was acquired by Viacom International in 2005. Prior to her work with online companies Alison had a successful career in the film business, first as a Casting Director (I Love You to Death, Sleepless in Seattle, American Heart); next as a Hollywood development executive for Samuel Goldwyn Company and Sweetpea Entertainment (Dungeons & Dragons); and finally as a producer with her own company, Go Girl Entertainment, where she Executive Produced the Disney/ABC TV movie "Princess of Thieves" starring then-unknown Keira Knightley.
Alison is Payventure's online dating expert and works with online dating and social networking sites to identify and implement appropriate payment processing, fraud prevention and sales optimization technologies specifically tailored to the space.
Ric has been active in business finance and payment solutions since 1994 with First Sierra Financial, Performance Capital and American Express Business Finance.
As Vice President of Operations in American Express Business Finance in Atlanta, GA; Ric assisted in the deployment of electronic B2B payment solutions for multiple merchants and vendors including Dell Computer, Hewlett Packard, Exodus and Tech Data.
From his position as Sales Manager with Performance Capital and First Sierra Financial, Ric directly helped build, train and grow a sales force and nationwide presence in every major market in the United States. Focusing on creating payment solutions for merchants selling via brick and mortar as well as online.
Ric earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mercyhurst College in Erie,PA and was student body of President of Business Administration.
Ric is a board member and financial consultant to Sunset Enterprises based in Cleveland which provides industrial development and construction services to Fortune 500 companies, most notably the Diebold Corporation in Canton, OH.
Ric is a principal and advisor/boardmember with the DreamAgain foundation based in Cleveland,OH which provides assisted housing solutions for mentally handicapped people.
