20 years niche telecommunications Marketing and Executive Management experience having strong domestic and international experience.
Prior to engaging with Payventures, LLC for consultation and marketing of merchant services, Ellerstein was responsible for 3Cinteractive’s foray and successful deployment of its innovative industry-changing multi-million dollar revenue generating Text Collect™ service.
Previously, Ellerstein founded FairCall Corporation in 1993 managing its growth from pure concept to a high of over $30 million in annual revenue in 2001/2002 and $20 million in 2004 upon the sale of the company.
David solely negotiated exclusive agreements with VZW (Bell Atlantic/Nynex), AT&T (SBC, Ameritech, BellSouth, PacBell) and Qwest for placement of its 1-800-FairCall POS placard on over 1.6 million payphones across the country, as well as British Telecom for all of its phones in the UK.
Contemporaneously ran Integrated Communications Corporation (ICC), as its president specializing in niche communications services to the Hospitality and pay phone industry, managing telecom for over 3,000 hotels and over 500,000 pay phones, being MCI’s largest marketing agent with over $45 million in annual sales.
